Tallahassee International Airport is a city-owned airport that serves the state capital of Florida and its surrounding areas. In 2006, Quest was hired to serve as the general marketing consultant for the airport. We developed a comprehensive three-year marketing plan and specific targeted one- and two-year implementation plans. The plans were designed to meet the airport’s goal of positioning itself as a vital part of the community, a partner with the community and one of the key factors driving the area’s economy. We created a new tag line, “The way travel should be,” as the centerpiece of the marketing plan.
Quest was responsible for overseeing all community outreach, marketing and public relations activities for the airport. We redesigned the quarterly newsletter, coordinated and staged several community events, coordinated a Mystery Shopper program, conducted focus groups and developed print ads for the Tallahassee Airport.
